How to use

Enter a domain name of your choice, select the desired operation and click "Check"

Check reverse DNS entry of the given domain

This option checks if the IP address that your given domain points to has a proper reverse DNS setup. Enter a domain name that points to your own mail server to check it.

Check greeting of the given mail server

Checks if the SMTP greeting of a given mail server is valid. This will perform multiple checks:

• Valid status code
• Valid domain name
• Valid reverse DNS setup of the response domain name
• Greeting contains "Service Ready" or "Server Ready"

Enter a domain name that points to an SMTP server to check it.

Detect mail server of the given domain

Detects and lists all found mail server and shows problems in relation to their domain name or IP address. Will not connect to the mail servers.

Detect mail server of the given domain and check greeting

This is similar to the SMTP server greeting test but it will instead test all servers found for a given domain name.
