This website lists the current MakeMKV Beta key.

About Expired Keys

The author occasionally updates the key a few days after it has expired.
This means it's perfectly normal for this page to list the old key for a while even if it is expired. In case the key is expired, we will begin to check hourly for a new key. As a temporary solution, you can set your system time back to before the key expired, or you can buy a permanent key.

It checks for a new key, installs it, then launches MakeMKV.

API

You can automatically retrieve the key file in various variations:

• api.php?json: For Web Applications. Also delivers some metadata
• api.php?xml: XML formatted output
• api.php?text: For applications that lack json and xml parsers. Lines are in Name=Value
• api.php?raw: For Applciations that only need the key
• api.php?reg: Windows Registry File for easy user import. (Just double click)

The JSON, XML and text variant contain these fields:

• date (int): Unix timestamp of your request
• keydate (int): Unix timestamp of the first moment the key is expired
• cache (int): Next timestamp this website checks for a new key
• key (string): Current MakeMKV beta key

You need to send a proper User-Agent header to use the API. Check the source code of the auto updater for an example.
